Doing good by giving back

Equal opportunities

For us, a sustainable future does not only mean reducing CO₂ emissions and using circular materials. In addition to a healthy climate, a sustainable future consists of a world in which everyone has equal opportunities.

Babies in extreme poverty

Not everyone is in a position to think about the circular use of baby products. Or even has the choice to think about mattresses, prams or the most beautiful baby carrier. Sometimes the priority is to provide your baby with food and a safe place to sleep. UNICEF has calculated that 39 percent of all children in low and middle developed countries live in extreme poverty. In addition, this number has increased by 15% due to the corona crisis.

Time for change

We want to be there for all parents and babies worldwide. Consider, for example, sufficient and healthy food for mother and child, a safe birth and hygienic living conditions after birth. We do this by supporting various initiatives. Read more about the initiatives we support below.

We contribute to the
sustainable development goals

We contribute to the Sustainable Development goals 2 'No hunger' and 3 'Good health and well-being'. The SDGs are seventeen goals to make the world a better place by 2030. They are a global compass for challenges such as poverty, education and the climate crisis.

The Baby Project

On May 9, Tiny Library donated the entire daily turnover to the initiative The Baby Project. This initiative by The Hunger Project supports parents with their babies before, during and after delivery. They do this, for example, by checking the weight of young children in Burkina Faso and intervening where necessary.
