Tiny Library is responsible for compliance with the "General Data Protection Regulation (AVG)", conducting customer administration and administration for analysis and marketing purposes. Tiny Library is responsible within the meaning of the GDPR. Tiny Library is responsible for all data processing on behalf of Tiny Library, including http://www.tinylibary.nl/.

Tiny Library collects and processes personal data for customer administration, the execution of the agreement, the collection of payments, the website, personal marketing and to comply with legal obligations.

The personal data stored by Tiny Library mainly serves to implement the agreement with regard to the delivery of a product and/or service by Tiny Library. Without this data provision, it is not possible for Tiny Library to execute the agreement.

Tiny Library treats your personal data with the utmost care and does everything it can to store your data securely. Any data leaks are always reported to the Dutch Data Protection Authority and to those involved whose personal data may have been compromised. In the event of a data breach, Tiny Library always takes appropriate measures to ensure the reliability of the website.

If you believe that your personal data is used incorrectly, obtained or stored incorrectly, and it is not possible for you to delete your data despite repeated requests, you can submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority at any time.

Tiny Library stores the following personal data:

  • For the implementation of the agreement for the benefit of the service provided: your name, address, postal code, place of residence, telephone number and e-mail address, date of birth, and age of your child / due date.
  • For paying and handling invoices: your name, address, postal code and place of residence;
  • For sending the newsletters: your name, address, postal code, place of residence, telephone number and e-mail address;
  • For handling questions and complaints: your name, address, postal code, place of residence, telephone number and e-mail address.

Personal data is never stored longer than strictly necessary and can be viewed, changed, and deleted at any time. If photos or other images depicting natural persons are used, Tiny Library always first asks permission from the person whose photo or image is placed. Viewing, changing, and removing (including the right to be forgotten) and withdrawing the given permission is possible by means of the newsletter or by means of an unambiguous statement addressed to info@tinylibrary.nl.

Your personal data will in any case be deleted:

  • In the case of the implementation of the agreement: 5 years after termination of the agreement for possible future agreements, unless you have given explicit permission to store the personal data for a longer period of time or if the data must be kept for longer on the basis of statutory regulation or determination;
  • In the case of paying and handling the invoices: 7 years after paying the relevant invoice, for the purpose of complying with the legal obligation of the tax authorities;
  • In the case of handling questions and complaints: after the complaint has been resolved satisfactorily;
  • In the case of the newsletter: after cancellation.

To ensure that the agreement runs smoothly, Tiny Library may use a number of external parties who may also gain insight into your data. In any case, they will store the data for as long as necessary for the performance of their work. Under no circumstances will the personal data be used for purposes other than the activities for Tiny Library, unless explicit permission has been requested from the data subject. Processor agreements apply to all external transfers of personal data.

The moment you wish to become a customer, we can provide your data to Focum BV (Focum). Focum will provide advice on your creditworthiness based on this information. Focum uses your data to investigate your creditworthiness and contact details. An external fulfillment party is used to perform the service. Personal data, necessary for the execution of the agreement, will be provided to the fulfillment party. A payment provider is used to collect invoices. Personal data necessary for collecting payments are provided to the payment provider.

An e-mail service provider is used to send the newsletter. Personal data, necessary for sending the newsletter, is provided to the e-mail service provider. If you want more information about with which external parties your personal data is processed, you can always send an e-mail to info@tinylibrary.nl.

Tiny Library is free to create a blacklist with regard to the personal data of persons who have seriously violated Tiny Library's trust. The blacklist is kept indefinitely and is only visible to a very limited group of Tiny Library employees. The blacklist is saved, also for future offers from Tiny Library. In any case, persons will be included on the blacklist who, despite repeated requests, do not meet any of Tiny Library's payment obligations.
