The products must have been purchased from Tiny Library. They must be complete, clean, and functional. There must also be no permanent damage or modifications in order to qualify for a buy-back amount.

Shipping costs are at your own expense if you return the package via a drop-off point.

Generally between 2 and 10 years. This varies per product. Check here how long your guarantee applies to your buy-back product.

Sometimes, inspection reveals that a product is not compliant. You will then receive an explanation from us. Then, choose:

• You let us donate it to a good cause .
• We will send the product back to you (for shipping costs), or you can collect it from our warehouse in Weesp.

When determining the repurchase price, we take into account how long the product has been in use. We do this for two reasons: firstly, the duration of use also determines (of course not always!) the condition of the product. Secondly, older models are sometimes no longer included in our current range, which makes it more difficult for us to rent them out again.

The buyback amount is determined by our fixed criteria for condition and useful life. This valuation is unfortunately final and non-negotiable.

You still have the choice to:

• To sell the product to us at the agreed price
• To return the product
• Donate the product to charity

💡 Our rule of thumb:
Would you buy this product yourself as a refurbished item? Then it probably meets our requirements and you will get an amount back. We understand that baby products are used - light signs of use are normal and acceptable.

Acceptable:

• Light signs of use such as small scratches on plastic parts
• Slight discolouration due to normal use (e.g. on fabric parts)
• Minimal wear
• Stains that can still be cleaned

Not acceptable:

• Cracks, tears or broken parts
• Permanent stains that cannot be removed
• Missing essential parts
• Functional defects (e.g. wheels that no longer turn, rattling wheels that are stuck)
• Permanent odors (smoke, pets)

On the product page of the item, you will find an indicative buyback value. This value is based on the condition the product should be in and on its market value. Read more here about how the buyback price is calculated.

You keep space in your home, you get a fair amount back for what you no longer use, and your product goes to a family that can still benefit from it.

Make sure that the product:

• Complete (including accessories and instructions);
• Clean and tidy (preferably lightly cleaned);
• In working order, without damage or defects;

Does not contain permanent stickers, names or customizations. Tip: use the original packaging if you still have it when shipping!

Very sustainable! By returning your product, you ensure that it gets a second (or third) life. We extend the useful life of quality products, prevent waste and reduce the CO₂ emissions of new production. This directly contributes to a circular economy.
