i-Size (R129). The current safety standard, based on your child's height. i-Size car seats are side-impact tested and keep your child rear-facing for longer, which is safer for the neck.

Isofix or seat belt installation. With Isofix, you click the car seat or base into your car's fixed anchor points, without using the seat belt. This reduces the chance of incorrect installation. Not every car has Isofix, so check this before you choose. Read more on our Isofix page.

Does it fit in your car? The space in the back and the shape of the back seat vary by car. Check if the car seat fits, especially if you want to place multiple car seats next to each other.

Grow-with-me or not. A grow-with-me car seat lasts longer, while a car seat per stage sometimes fits better and is lighter. Both can be a good choice, depending on how often you move the car seat.
