A story of three generations

It all began in 1953, when Hielke and Boukje Klaver opened their baby store on Stationsweg in Drachten. More than seventy years later, the company has grown into something the founders probably never dreamed of: five large baby stores and a complete webshop. And what makes it extra special? The third generation of the Klaver family has now joined the business, with Lotte and Kirsten taking over from their fathers.

Advice that really makes sense

What sets BabyPlanet apart is not just the size of its assortment – it's the way they interact with customers. The team knows better than anyone what it's like to have a child and gives honest advice about what you really need and what might be superfluous. No sales pitch, but genuine advice.

In the megastore in Drachten, you can even try out strollers on a special test track in the inner garden, where you can experience the difference on various surfaces. This way, you can be sure you're making the right choice.
