Products

Yes, we want the best quality for your baby and only use recognized brands that have specialized in baby products for years and have been tested by us. We only rent out products that are in excellent condition, because your baby only deserves the best. Are you missing a product that you would like? Let us know. We keep our offer up to date and are always open to suggestions.

Unfortunately, there are not yet sustainable variants for all products. In the first instance, we will therefore focus primarily on encouraging the reuse of the products by consumers. In this way, far fewer products need to be produced in the first place.

Where can we offer sustainable products:

Bednest: made of FSC certified wood
Tripp Trapp: made of FSC certified wood and finished with water-based lacquer
Little Amelie: made of FSC certified wood

We carefully select the products based on the following criteria:

1. Safety: the products must meet the safety standards.
2. Usability: the products are easy to use and easy to transport and store
3. Quality: products are easy to maintain/clean and refurbish.
4. Style: products are beautiful, people want them in their homes or to be seen with them.

Of course! We guarantee that all products are inspected, washed and disinfected by our professional dry cleaners before they are offered for rent. For your baby's skin and for the sake of the planet, we only use natural cleansers.

We only work with the best suppliers of baby products. Once a product comes back from the rental period it is fully checked and tested for safety before moving on to the next baby.

Wear/Repairable Damage
We assume that you use the product, so wear and tear is part of it. And an accident can always happen, especially with babies. In the case of fabric cover, you can wash it yourself (read the care label carefully). Examples of wear and tear or repairable damage: loose seam, small hole or stain in an inconspicuous area, or paint that has peeled off slightly.

Irreparable damage
If there is damage that we can no longer repair and that makes the product unusable or that jeopardizes safety, you must report it to us as soon as possible, but no later than two days after the damage occurred or became known. You can call us directly, send a WhatsApp message to: 06-22455271 or email us at: info@tinylibrary.nl† (In that case, also send photos of the damage). We will then arrange a replacement product for you. We also charge an amount of 15% of the new value of the leased property, or, if 15% is unreasonable, a reasonable percentage of the new value of the leased property.

Examples of irreparable damage: stain or damage in a conspicuous area, wood that cannot be repaired.

Please always return damaged products, so that we can donate them to Stichting Babyspullen.

Please contact us within 24 hours and we will quickly deliver a new one. However, in the event of loss or theft, you owe an excess of 30% of the new value of the rented property. In addition, you must also file a declaration.

Dit is helaas niet mogelijk. Het is namelijk onze missie om de babymarkt te verduurzamen en zoveel mogelijk gezinnen blij te maken met hetzelfde product. Ons huursysteem is vergelijkbaar met spullen uitlenen aan vriendinnen en vrienden. Op deze manier wordt hetzelfde product steeds door iemand anders gebruikt. We repareren onze producten wanneer een onderdeel niet meer voldoet. Zo gaan producten langer mee.

Subscription

You can order from us as soon as you know which items you need. In the check-out you can indicate when you want to receive the products. Then your subscription will also start. For us it is very nice to know well in advance that you want to rent a product, so that we can ensure that there is sufficient stock and that you have it at home in time.

You can do this quickly and easily via our webshop. Select the products you want to rent temporarily and pay for them. Indicate when you pay when you want to receive the products. You always pay the first month in advance and the next collection takes place one month after delivery. We will prepare the products for you and contact you when we deliver them.

When you are expecting twins, you need more baby gear. To accommodate you financially, we give you a twin discount. This means that you will receive a 15% discount on the second same product for the first 6 months. Contact us at info@tinylibrary.nl for a personal discount code.

When you have taken out a subscription with Tiny Library, you will automatically receive an account. Under account details you can change payment details and your address.

At Tiny Library you take out a subscription for a minimum period. After this period you can cancel the rental contract per month. You always have the right to return products in their original condition within 14 days of ordering. We do not have a maximum rental period. Are you no longer using the product? Then report your product back via ourreturn page.

Because we are very careful with our products, we request that you confirm your identity via iDIN. As soon as you have confirmed your identity, we can send the product. The subscription starts on the day your order is shipped.

You can have the items on view at home for 14 days. We are confident that you will be delighted with our quality gear for your little one. If you have changed your mind, no problem! Provided everything is in the original packaging and is unused and undamaged, you can return it free of charge and we will only charge the shipping costs. You can return your products, renew your subscription or take out a new subscription. With renewal you can cancel it monthly and the price per month remains the same. 

What a pity that you are leaving us! Register the return of your product(s) via our website† Please note that we use a notice period of one month and you can therefore use the products for one month after cancellation, provided the minimum contract duration has been achieved. You will then receive instructions on how to return the products and you will receive a return label or we will schedule a collection time.

Delivery

We deliver with PostNL. The following applies to deliveries with PostNL:

- Ordered Monday-Friday before 12:00 pm is delivered the next day. 
- Ordered on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

We recommend that you have your layette delivered to your home about 4 weeks before the due date. If your baby is unexpectedly born earlier, just let us know! We will then ensure that the products you have ordered are delivered as soon as possible.

All our packages are sent with PostNL. If you live in the area, we will bring the products ourselves with the cargo bike, very environmentally conscious!

- The shipping costs for all shipments within the Netherlands are €6.95. 
- The shipping costs for shipments outside the Netherlands of packages up to and including 10 kilograms are €25. 
- Shipments outside the Netherlands of parcels over 10 kilograms are €34.

Payment

With the first payment, a direct debit is immediately created for the rental products. Existing customers can log in with their own email address, after which an overview of the invoices is visible. You pay a one-time payment for the purchased products.

You pay for the subscription every month. The price depends on the products you are renting at that time. The prices include VAT and exclude shipping costs.

You can pay via Ideal, with all banks. You can also pay with the Tiny Library gift card. Take for that contact on. 

Backtrial

The moment you want to send them back. Earlier is not necessary. It's good to know that your label is valid for 5 days, so don't do it too far in advance.

Returns are free.

Do you want to return a product and cancel your subscription? Register your return via this link† In addition, fill in the return form that you received with the product. Add this to the package when you return the product. It is possible to return the products in two ways:

1. Send yourself via DHL Parcel Shop, DPD Parcelshop or UPS Access Point. You will receive a free backlabel.  
2. We can also pick up the products at your home for €9.75 with DHL Collection service.
